The last several weeks, I have thought about some lessons I have learned the past twenty-five years. I thought about the ups and the downs, the many people I have been able to meet, and the few places I have had the opportunity to visit. I have thought of the many people who have gone home to be with the Lord, and how much I miss them.
I picked up a book I had read a while back, “Born Again”, written by Charles W. Colson; this book became an inspiration during a time of change for me. I kept reading and after finishing, I realized it boiled down to just one thing that made the most difference in my life and sustained me through all my trials - the one thing that I could always rely on when tears, heartbreak, pain, fear, and sorrow paralyzed me; the only thing that comforted me was this verse.
Jesus loves me this I know. For the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong. We are weak but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.
Now, this is not perhaps a normal Reflection, but it is my personal Reflection.
When you get a chance read Romans 5:1-10.
May our Lord and Savior continue to bless and keep you! To God Be the Glory.
